Micro motors are widely used in various industries. Micro motors can be divided into micro DC motors and micro gear motors. Micro gear motors are the most common in our lives. For example, the smart locks we see in our daily life are through micro gear motors. Running, when the micro gear motor is powered on and running, we will hear a certain motor running sound, which is what we call the motor noise. So what is the main reason for the noise of the micro motor?
The main reason for the noise of the micro motor:
1. Current sound: The miniature geared motor operates by converting electrical energy into mechanical energy, so it is normal to have a certain current sound when the motor is energized;
2. Mechanical noise: the sound produced by the mechanical friction of the internal parts running after the geared motor is powered on;
3. Too small overlap of gear design, improper or no modification of tooth profile, unreasonable structure of gear box, etc. will produce noise;
4. The noise caused by the excessive base pitch error and tooth profile error of gear machining, excessive tooth side clearance, and excessive surface roughness;
5. The eccentricity of the gear train and gearbox assembly, low contact accuracy, poor parallelism of the shaft, insufficient rigidity of the shaft, bearing and support, low rotation accuracy of the bearing and improper clearance may cause noise;
6. The gear box fluctuates, the torsional vibration of the shaft system, and the poor balance of the micro-motor and other transmission pairs will also cause noise.
The above are the main reasons for the noise of the micro motor. You can judge from the current sound of the motor, mechanical noise, vibration, and the size of the inspection error, so that the cause of the noise can be found out and solved in time.
